ENGINES
TURBOCHARGED PERFORMANCE
F‑TYPE's 2.0 litre 300PS 4-cylinder Turbocharged Petrol engine provides strong performance with refinement and efficiency. It’s packed with innovative technologies, including Intelligent Continuously Variable Valve Lift Control, an E-wastegate, and a variable displacement oil pump. The result is exceptional power, lower running costs, and a fundamental reinvention of F‑TYPE's dynamic performance.
V6 POWER
F‑TYPE's V6 engines are powerful and refined. The compact supercharger’s sophisticated boost control and secondary throttle valve give you a burst of power when you accelerate, with no lag. The 3.0 litre V6 340PS engine generates 450Nm of torque and achieves 0‑100km/h in as little as 5.3 seconds. The higher output 380PS engine produces 460Nm of torque for even more potent performance and a 0‑100km/h time as low as 4.9 seconds.
V8 PERFORMANCE
Both 5.0 litre V8 engines are supremely powerful. Dual independent variable cam timing optimises power at any speed. Acceleration is rapid and progressive. Response is immediate. The 5.0 litre V8 550PS engine found in F‑TYPE R generates 680Nm of torque and achieves 0-100km/h in 4.1 seconds. F‑TYPE SVR’s higher output 575PS engine produces an astonishing 700Nm of torque for a 0‑100km/h time of 3.7 seconds. Power is delivered through our 8‑speed Quickshift Automatic Transmission and All Wheel Drive system for optimum performance in all conditions.
SPORTS CAR SOUNDTRACK
Every F‑TYPE is fitted with an Active Sports Exhaust that creates a race‑car inspired crescendo. The exhaust system reacts to throttle position, speed and engine revs by opening active valves. When open, these valves allow exhaust gases to take a more direct, less restrictive route through the rear silencer producing a much richer, more exhilarating sound. The Switchable Active Exhaust*, allows you to manually open the exhaust valves so you can enjoy F‑TYPE's stirring soundtrack at all engine speeds.
